2/4-3/3 「小屋及其周遭風景」-楊蕙菁 個展-八樓當代藝術空間

「小屋及其周遭風景」是一項自傳性質的展覽，2009-2011年陸續收集的舊轉印貼紙、紙膠帶、木片…種種小物及片段的生活靈感，剪貼拼湊成的系列作品，創作者給予拾得的物品某些定義，從 found art objects中窺見一些細膩的日常感知。

徒步行走是我最常的交通移動方式，引發好奇心的小巷弄，特殊擺設裝置的商店，集合家中廢棄雜物的跳蚤市場，歷史悠久的雜貨店和美術社，街角一偶的大型回收家具，散步的行為帶來更多時間去發現一些值得紀錄的原因。

周末夜間的獨處搭配喜歡的音樂組合成某種氣氛，讓我樂於身處其中，整齊，規律，長時間的重複行為使我平靜，沒有模糊，暈開，去去回回曖昧不明的不確切線條，感性也可以用純粹的方式表現。

將每個人比喻為一棟獨立的小屋，人生際遇延展成周邊風景，小屋或許不停前進，或許隨波逐流，或許根本就靜止不動，不論如何，從遠方看來，景色依舊豐富獨特。

Cabins n the surrounding landscape

Cabins n the surrounding landscape is an autobiographical exhibition, using transfer stickers, paper tape, wood chips, small objects and fragments of the life of inspiration collected between 2009 and 2011. Items were given new definitions, and were used to peep over some delicate daily perception of found art objects.

The most common way of transportation for me is walking. Small streets that trigger my curiosities; the special decoration shops, the flea markets that gather discarded sundries of home, long history grocery stores and art supply, and the corners where large recycling furniture sit. By walking, I get more time to find lots of reasons that are worth to record.

At weekend nights, spending time alone with music I love makes up an atmosphere that I am happy to live in. Tidy, regular, long repetitive behaviors make me calm. Without inaccurate lines, fuzzy, dizzy, back and forth over and over again, emotion could also express in pure and simple way.

Each individual is like a cabin. Their life could be seen as the extended surrounding landscape. They may keep moving ahead; perhaps drift, or even not move at all. However, it is still rich and unique scenery form far away.
